Friday May 12th @ 7pm.
The Jackson City Library is expanding its Outreach & Homebound Services. We are able, with limitations, to deliver library materials to homebound patrons within the city limits. The homebound situation can be temporary (surgery, short-term illness) or permanent (wheelchair bound, elderly). Those wishing to utilize this service will need to call Brandy at 740 286-4111 to register.
People often are unsure what to do with old books and dvds – no one likes to throw those items away but also don’t want to keep them (or can’t). The library will accept donations of books and dvds. They will either end up in the collection, in our Outreach program, or in our semi-annual booksale.
StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time.
