Paws for Poetry - Sunday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m.

Join us for an afternoon of light-hearted poetry, music, and videos about our favorite animals.  Community animal lovers are joining together in support of our 4-legged companions.  A Jackson Area Humane Society representative will be available for news and informaton about upcoming projects and Humane Society needs.

We will also be accepting donations of food,collars, leashes, beds, toys, and bowls for those pets still looking for a forever home.

Families are invited to a Halloween Storytime from 5:30 to 7:30, featuring Jody Rife, a professional face painter from Gallipolis.  Rife will share a story and paint faces during, and after, storytime.  Her work can be see on Facebook and on her website, www.jodyrife.com.

Local authors will be highlighted in the 1st annual Local Author Fair.  The library is pleased to offer this opportunity to support local authors and provide readers with the opportunity to meet and connect with them.  Each author table will feature copies of their work available for purchase and signing.  Add a signed copy to your personal collection or pick out wonderful holiday gifts for friends and family.  Join us and support your local authors.
 

Quilts will be accepted into the Apple Festival Quilt Show from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.  There is a $2.00 registration fee.  No antique quilts will be accepted and no sales are permitted. Two quilts per person is the limit.

Children ages 18 months up to 3 years are invited to attend Toddler Storytime with a parent or caregiver.  Storytime is filled with songs, games, books, fingerplays, and action rhymes.

Come and join other Pokemon enthusiasts for Pokemon Club.  All ages are welcome, but children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  Any system is welcome, including cards or electronic, and Pokemon discussion is encouraged.
