Jackson City Library is happy to introduce the new Browse and Go service!

Patrons are now able to enter the building by appointment for book and computer browsing. Browsing is limited to 15 minutes for book, DVD, or other physical material browsing. Computer browsing is also limited to 15 minutes. 

Registering for a Jackson City Library card online is fast and easy! Just follow these steps:

Type in all of your information in the boxes including your name, address, phone number, email address, etc. 

Introducing the new Auto-Renewal Service!

Materials will automatically renew, as long as there are not holds on that item for other patrons. Items can be auto-renewed up to 3 times. All materials are eligible for this service, including mobile Wi-Fi hotspots! 

To utilize this service, notifications must be set to text or email notifications. Call (740) 286-4111 or stop in at the Front Desk to check or change your preferences.

Self-administered COVID-19 test kits are now available for curbside pickup!

All patrons are eligible. Patrons can request a test by calling (740) 286-4111 or emailing porchpickup@jacksonlibrary.org to make an appointment for curbside pickup. Those requesting a kit must provide their name, date of birth, email address, and phone number. 

Join us at Noon on Tuesdays at the Parkview School Playground! There will be stories, finger plays, crafts, snacks, and more for children of all ages! Please bring a blanket or chairs with you for seating.

You and your preschooler are invited to Virtual Storytime hosted by Jackson City Library, every Thursday at 11:00am!

All you will need is a computer (no camera or microphone necessary), internet access, and the weekly activity packet. Activity packets can be picked up at the Front Desk or mailed to your home address if you do not live locally.
