Effective January 1st, The Jackson City Library is fine free! This means that there will be no fines for overdue materials. Existing fines will be forgiven. Lost or damaged item charges will still apply.
Patrons are encouraged to turn materials in on time, or to renew the items. Although there will no longer be late fees, users will be blocked from checking out materials when they have overdue items, or when lost items (items more than 90 days late) total more than $5.
